Fazetta ‘Faye’ Lampkin

A celebration of life for Fazetta “Faye” Lampkin, was held January 23, 2021 at Greater Philadelphia Baptist Church grounds in Monticello. Rev. Terry Glawson, pastor, officiated.

Ms. Lampkin was born May 11, 1965 to the late Lillie Mae Olds in Macon. After a life well lived, she gained her wings on January 15, 2021.

Faye attended school in Jasper County. After years of living in Cleveland, Ohio, Ms. Lampkin moved back to Monticello and became a member of Greater Philadelphia Baptist Church. Her work experiences range from working at Earth Pak for years to working for the city of Monticello.

She is survived by her daughters, April Traylor and Wendy Traylor; sons, James Traylor and Vashon Traylor; adopted grandson, TyDarius Traylor, and five additional grandchildren. Also, brothers, Ramone Olds and Vashon Olds. Also, nieces, nephews, cousins and others who loved her deeply.

Smith and Sons Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
