Several Burglaries Reported
Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office (JCSO) are investigating several burglaries in the last couple weeks, including several entering auto/theft from auto.
One of those occurred on Chickadee Court where numerous items were taken from a vehicle. Some were later found in the woods, but prescriptions drugs and other items remained missing.
In addition, another entering auto occurred on Aikenton Road, but little was reported missing. There were burglaries reported on Maddux Street and Dallas Trail, and a vehicle was taken from an address on Killdeer Court.
Numerous items were taken from an address on Blue Heron, including five flat screen televisions, an Alexa, a Ring door bell, and much more. An arrest has been made in that case.
Persons arrested in the last week, and their charges, include:
•Christopher Williamson, 30, Stone Mountain—possession of Schedule II controlled substance, head light violation, possession of marijuana less than an ounce, operation of vehicle without current plate and drugs not in original container.
•Taylor James William Clement, 21, Snellville—purchase/possess/manufacture/distribution or sale of marijuana.
•Nicole Robin Obanner, 34, Monticello—simple battery.
•John Wesley Goodman, Jr., 49, Barnesville—false report of a crime.
•Gabriel Mortavius Richards, 34, Forsyth—probation violation.
•Jason Terry Thompson, 35, Alcovy Shores—probation violation.
•Alvin Jerome Majors, 61, Atlanta—giving false name, address or birth date to a law enforcement officer.
•Joshua Tyler Whatley, 32, Mansfield—battery.
•Jordan Tyler Stranger, 19, Porterdale—criminal damage to property in the second degree, interference with government property, reckless driving and laying drags.
•Joseph Andrew Brewer, 21, Flovilla—possession of marijuana less than an ounce and head light violation.
•James Timothy Traylor, III, 36, Monticello—Jasper County Superior Court failure to appear bench warrant.
•Caleb Avontae Vinson, 25, Monticello—battery.
•Andrew Otto Peacock, 19, Covington—criminal damage to property in the second degree, interference with government property, reckless driving and laying drags.
•Austin James Waits, 18, Locust Grove—criminal damage to property in the second degree, interference with government property, reckless driving and laying drags.
•Dustin Lee Wilde, 44. Monticello—possession of cocaine (two counts), possession of schedule I or II controled substance with intent to distribute, purchase/possess/manufacture/distribute or sale of marijuana, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (two counts), drug related objects (four counts), battery and obstruction or hindering emergency 911call.
•Carrie Ann Shelton, 45, Monticello—possession of Schedule I or II controled substance and purchase/possess/manufacture/distribute or sale of marijuana.
