Judy Lynn Savage Freeman

Judy Lynn Savage Freeman, age 68, passed away suddenly Friday, March 19, 2021, at Jasper Memorial Hospital.

Mrs. Freeman was born in Porterdale, on November 24, 1952, to the late Aubrey Melton Savage and Dorothy Mae Beam Savage.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Louise Mathis and JoAnn Preston.

Mrs. Freeman enjoyed reading, the color purple, cooking, watching QVC and HSN network and watching and attending NASCAR races. Above all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She worked as a cashier for Food Depot for 23 years.

She is survived by her husband, Jackie Andrew Freeman, Sr. of Monticello; sons, Jackie Andrew (Alisha Rena) Freeman, Jr. and Joshua Allen Freeman of Monticello; grandchildren, Brennan Freeman, Wyatt Freeman, Lance Drewery and Chance Drewery; and brothers, Ronnie Savage and Jeff Savage of Porterdale and Mel Savage of Conyers.

A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m., Saturday, March 27, 2021, at New Rocky Creek Baptist Church in Mansfield. Dr. Randal Reese will officiate.
