Several Sentenced Over Past Two Weeks
Jasper Superior Court conducted two motion day sessions over as many weeks under the jurisdiction of Judges William Prior, Jr., Amanda Petty, Stephen Bradley and Terry Massey.
The sentences from the criminal sessions include the following:
•Randy Delacerda, sentenced to 20 years with the first four years to be served in confinement for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. He was credited with time served since 2018 and fined $2,000.
•Emily Wood, sentenced to 10 years in confinement with the first 120-180 days to be served in a state probation detention center for three counts of sale of methamphetamine, illegal use of communication facility, and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. Fined $2,000.
•Quintravious Blackwell, sentenced to 10 years in confinement with the first 120-180 days in state probation detention center for possession of cocaine with intent to distribute. Fined $1,500.
•James Cates, sentenced to 180 days in Jasper County jail, suspended upon entry into a a long term inpatient substance abuse program for minimum of six months or until completion for violating his probation with new charges. Also given three years of probation for two counts of possession of methamphetamine, open container, driving while license suspended, and tag light violation.

•Brandy Cebada, sentenced to three years of probation for possession of methamphetamine. Fined $1,000.
•Justin Kennedy, sentenced to three years of probation for possession of methamphetamine. Two counts of sale of methamphetamine were nolle prossed. Fined $1,000.
•Shannon Butler, sentenced to three years of probation for possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana.
•Scotty Wesley Mayfield, sentenced to three years of probation for possession of methamphetamine and loitering. Fined $1,500.
•Carl Shoemake, sentenced to two years of probation for two counts reckless driving. Fined $700.
•Jonathan Maroney, probation revoked to 90 days in Jasper County jail for violating probation terms by committing new offense of battery, family violence for which he was sentenced to one year of probation. Fined $300.
•Joshua Orr, sentenced to one year of confinement with the first 90 days in Jasper County jail and the remainder on probation for harassing communications. Credited with time served since January 2021. Fined $500.
•Jason Chapman, sentenced to one year of probation for stalking. Fined $500.
•David Niblett, sentenced to one year of probation for disorderly conduct. Fined $500.
•Tyson Dubose, sentenced to one year of probation for theft of lost or mislaid property. Fined $250.
•Scott Duckett, sentenced to one year of probation for public drunkenness. Fined $300.
•Michael Clemons, sentenced to one year of probation for theft by shoplifting. Fined $300.
•Tiffany Thompson, sentenced to one year of probation for possession of marijuana. Fined $500.
•Austin Nix, sentenced to one year of probation for disorderly conduct. Fined $200.
Probation revocations include:
•Clayton Hardy, revoked to Jasper County jail for 300 days which was suspended upon entry into a state probation detention center for 180 days for violating probation conditions.
•Blair Wilkes, probation revoked to 180 days in Jasper County jail suspended upon entry into a state probation detention center for 120-180 days for violating probation conditions.
•Hakeel Norwood, probation revoked to 75 days in Jasper County jail for violating probation conditions.
•Herbert Sanders, probation revoked to 30 days in Jasper County jail which was suspended upon completion of an alcohol and drug evaluation and payment of court fines.
•Jonquavis Dumas, revoked to successful completion of the Sober Living America long term inpatient substance abuse treatment program for new offense of possession of cocaine.
Also, pretrial diversions were ordered for Kameron Banks, Henry Arnold, Saige Jenkins, John Daniel, Ray Hamlin, Jessilyn Asbell, David Pfeiffer, and Melissa Mulders.
