All Jasper County fire stations were dispatched to a structure fire on Hwy. 11 south near Hwy. 380 last Friday. During response, units advised by dispatch of power line smoking and on fire. Power company was dispatched. Firefighters quickly extinguished the outside flame, and then made entry into the residence where they found much smoke. They placed a fan in the residence to clear the smoke out. Those responding included Engines 1 and 3, Medic 1, Tanker 3, and other firefighters who responded in their personal vehicles.
