JCMS Runners Compete At GMC

The Jasper County Middle School cross country runners took to the course at the GMC Bulldog Dash last week in Milledgeville.

The JCMS boys finished fifth overall as a team as Powell Goolsby led the Canes with a 12th place individual performance in 12:57.84.

Samuel Brimberry was 14th overall for the boys in 13:11.70. Other top runners included Evan Diaz (14:19.95), Grady Jordan (14:24.76) and Evan Smith (14:41.12).

Colbie Ramsey was the top runner for the Middle School Lady Canes in 17:12.23. Taryn McCart competed the two-mile course in 18:14.47.

The JCMS cross country teams will compete in Social Circle on Sept. 22 for the Redskin XC Invitational.
