JCMS Boys Hoops Add More Wins

The Jasper County Middle School boys basketball team posted two additional victories last week.

The Middle School Canes defeated Putnam County 46-37 on November 17 as Bryce Jackson scored 18 points. Tayshawn Reeves added nine points while Jamarkus Thomas scored eight.

Bryan Ridley (six points), Kenyan Davis (three points) and Denoyren Head (two points) also contributed in the win.

JCMS improved to 4-0 with a 56-33 win against Loganville Middle School last Friday. Jackson once again led the team with 17 points while Thomas scored 13 and Reeves added 11.

Davis finished with five points while Bryan Ridley scored four and Jayce Stewart, Tyin Epps and Arrington Bostic finished with two.

“We played two of the tougher teams in the region and we took care of business,” coach Keldrick Davis said. “We are playing with confidence going into the Thanksgiving break.”

JCMS will host Youth Middle School on Friday, Dec. 3.
