Carol Denise Allen Stubbs

Carol Denise Allen Stubbs, age 66, of Covington, passed away Sunday, March 6, 2022.

Denise Stubbs was born on November 30, 1955, in Covington to the late Harold Louis Allen and Edith Loraine Waits Allen. She was raised in Jasper County and graduated from Piedmont Academy.

Denise loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She loved animals, especially her dogs and cats. She enjoyed outdoor activities such as long car rides, picnics, walks in the park and spending time outside on pretty, sunny days.

Before retirement, Denise was a self-employed real estate broker. She worked for State Farm Insurance for a number of years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Allen, Sr.; sister, Twyla Keiser; and nephew, Wayne Allen, Jr.

She is survived by her companion of 35 years, Byron Mask of Covington; children, Rickie (Rachel) Stubbs and Kimberly Stubbs of Covington; grandchildren, Micah Stubbs, Lily Stubbs, Allison Mitchell, Braydon Mitchell and McKinley Allison; sisters, Dianne Hipps of Mansfield and Connie Craft of Covington; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. , Thursday, March 10, 2022, at Hebron Cemetery. Rickie Stubbs will officiate.

Serving as pallbearers will be Rickie Stubbs, Byron Mask, Micah Stubbs and Braydon Mitchell.

The family will receive friends from 5 until 7 p.m., Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Jordan Funeral Home.
