Jasper Superior Court Judges Issue Sentences

Jasper Superior Court Judge Amanda Petty presided over a light load in criminal court last week. The following four sentences were presented.

Codie A. Jeffares was sentenced to 10 years with the first two years served in confinement and the remainder on probation for the sale of methamphetamine. He was credited with time served since August 26, 2021 and fined $1,500.

Debra L. Bond, sentenced to three years of probation for possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana. Fined $300.

Richard B. Chatham, probation revoked Jasper County jail for 60 days for failure to report to the Monroe and Monticello DCS office.

Jeffrey Olice Lake, probation revoked to one year in the jail for the new offense of theft by deception. in Barrow County.

The February 21 motion day calendar during the criminal session of superior court produced the following sentences:

Jason Keith Slaton, sentenced to 10 years of probation for sale of methamphetamine. Fined $1,500.

Russell D. Musselwhite, sentenced to six years of probation for sale of methamphetamine. Fined $1,000.

Marquaiz Telismat, sentenced to five years of probation for theft by receiving. Kenneth James Harp, Jr., sentenced to three years of probation for possession of methamphetamine. Fined $1,000.

Michael Drake Young, sentenced to two years of probation for family violence. Fined $500.

Selena E. Honigford, sentenced to two years of probation for possession of methamphetamine. Fined $1,000.

Saderrius Collier, sentenced to two years of probation for two counts of theft by taking. Fined $500.

Suzanne Barnes, sentenced to 18 months of probation for possession of cocaine.

David Geoff Brittain, sentenced to one year of probation for possession of drug related object. Fined $500.

Laura L. Bullard, sentenced to possession of marijuana and driving while license suspended. Fined $1,000.

Jerry L. Boswell, sentenced to one year of probation for two counts of disorderly conduct. Fined $500.

Arden M. Cowan, sentenced to one year of probation for terroristic threats and obstruction of an officer. Fined $300.

Willie J. Wise, sentenced to one year of probation for simple battery. Fined $200.
