Kevin Wayne Hopper

Kevin Wayne Hopper, age 60, of Haddock passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022, at his residence.

Kevin Hopper was born in Baton Rouge, La. to Margaret Mouser Hopper and the late Thomas Hopper. He married Vicki Allaben Pope on June 17, 1995. They lived in Alpharetta before moving to Haddock in 2007.

Before becoming disabled, Kevin worked as a forklift driver for Associated Grocers. He was extremely independent and was a diehard LSU fan. His greatest joy was spending time with his granddaughters.

He is survived by his loving wife of 27 years, Vicki Allaben Pope Hopper of Haddock; children, Josh Allaben (Jordan Stevens) of Brunswick, Nicole Hopper (Caleb Barnard) of Haddock, Megan (Shauntavius “Tay”) Lamar of Haddock, Amber Hopper (Darrell Borum) of Haddock and Carson Hopper (Courtney Taylor) of Haddock; granddaughters, Brooklyn Allaben, Caroline Allaben, Ryleigh Hopper, Londyn Lamar and Ivy Faulk; mother and mother-in-law, Margaret Mouser Hopper of Cleveland and Frances Avant Pope of Haddock; and sister, Crystal Hodges of Cleveland.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, April 30, 2022, at the Chapel of Jordan Funeral Home. Rev. Ted Tedder will officiate.
