Graduation Is Right Around the Corner

It’s almost time! Graduation is right around the corner, and The Monticello News plans to salute the 2022 graduates in a special section to be published on Thursday, May 19.

Many people and businesses choose this time to salute their favorite grad—be it child, grandchild, neighbor, friend, or whatever relation.

The Monticello News is offering discounted ad prices for personal ads through this Friday, May 6. We will continue to take ads until next Thursday, May 12, but they will only be discounted this week.

The section will feature all the graduating seniors from Jasper County/Monticello High School and Piedmont Academy.

In addition, we typically feature candid shots of the seniors, sometimes through the ages.

So if you have some shots of seniors to share, particularly in younger grades, we ask that you send photos to advertising@themonticellonews.com.

If you want to place an ad, you may email that address, call 706-468-6511, or better still, come by The News office at 247 West Washington Street with your photos and encouraging, congratulatory words, and let Jenny Murphy, advertising director, help you determine the best size for your information.
