Several Are Sentenced on Motion Day in Superior Ct.

Last Tuesday’s Jasper Superior Court motion day session saw several defendants sentenced to time in confinement for criminal offenses. Judge Allison Burleson was presiding.

Lola Grogan-Lindsey was sentenced to 30 years with the first 12 years in confinement for manufacturing methamphetamine less than 200 grams as a count of trafficking methamphetamine was nolle prossed. She was fined $200,000.

Dean Gibson Kilby was sentenced to 20 years with the first four to be served in confinement for 10 counts including three counts of terroristic threats, two counts of aggravated assault, two counts obstruction of an officer, interference with government property, driving under the influence, and too fast for conditions. He was credited with time served since July 2021 and fined $1,000. He was additionally sentenced to two years on another case for terroristic threats.

Kelby Jamire Williams was sentenced to 10 years with the first three in confinement for robbery and distribution of imitation controlled substances as one count of armed robbery was nolle prossed. He was credited with time served from June to August 2019 and fined $1,000.

Michael Anthony Dempsey was sentenced to six years with the first two years in confinement for two counts of driving while license suspended, two counts of hit and run, reckless driving, and possession of methamphetamine. Fined $1,000.

Jonquavis Deshon Dumas was sentenced to seven years of probation for sale of cocaine and possession of cocaine. He was credited with time served from March to April 2021 and fined $1,500.

Alvin Adonis Bailey was sentenced to five years of probation for crossing the guard line with contraband, possession of cocaine, and possession of methamphetamine. Fined $1,500.

Brandon Richard Lind was sentenced to four years with the first 90 days in Jasper County jail for two counts of possession of methamphetamine. Fined $1,500.

Tonja Marie Blandon was sentenced to two years with the first 15 days in Jasper County jail for two counts of driving under the influence. Fined $1,500.

Terrell Eugene Stinson was sentenced to two years of probation for possession of methamphetamine and possession of cocaine. Fined $800.

Destin A. Breaux was sentenced to one year of probation for disorderly conduct. Fined $400.

Ashley Van Horn was sentenced to one year of probation for cruelty to animals. Fined $500.

Dylan Atkinson was sentenced one year of probation for theft by taking. Fined $500.

Brian Keith Cagle, Jr. was sentenced to one year of probation for reckless driving. Fined $500.

Clint Henry Bergeron was sentenced to one year of probation for possession of marijuana. Fined $500.
