Drugs, Moving Violations Lead to Arrests
Several people were caught with drugs during last week, and several moving violations were also cited during the week by Jasper County deputies.
Those offenses led to numerous alleged offenders being booked into the Jasper County Detention Center. Those individuals, and their charges, include:
•Marlon Howard Owens-Austin, 22, Decatur—purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution or sale of marijuana, drug related objects, possession of cocaine, possession of illegal weapons during commission of a felony
•Conny Allan Jenkins, 57, Covington — possession of methamphetamine, no proof of insurance, no tag or expired tag, drug related objects
•Steven Cadet Smith, 31, Covington—possession of methamphetamine, possession of a schedule II controlled substance, drug related objects
•Kaitlin Reid Vaughan, 29, Danielsville—possession of methamphetamine, possession of schedule II controlled substance, possession of marijuana – less than an ounce, speeding, following too closely, drug related objects
•Bailey Nicole Hamby, 22, Monticello—cruelty to children, first degree
•Maria Edelia Reyes, 40, Shady Dale—driving without a valid license, speeding.
•Geobran Minus Downs, 35, East Point—failure to appear for a fingerprintable charge (three counts)
•Tyquan Monyae Pennamon, 26, Monticello—financial transaction card fraud
•Jameelah Muneerah Shabazz Ali, 66, Decatur—willful obstruction of law enforcement officers, alterations of license plates, license to be carried & exhibited on demand, suspended vehicle registration
•Jennifer Kenea Thomason, 39, Covington—probation violation
•Kelly Michelle Young, 35, Monticello—operation of vehicle without current plate, limited driving permits for certain offenders
•Antono Vravo, 37, Canton—driving without a valid license, suspended vehicle registration, open container violation
•Joseph Wayne Little Jr, 33, Monticello—hold for Newton County
•Bridgette Juanell McClure, 36, Griffin—failure to appear for fingerprintable charge
•Micaiah Adrian Mitchell Owens, 26, Decatur—drug related, purchase, possession, manufacturing, distribution, sale of marijuana, possession of cocaine, possession of illegal weapons during commission of a felony, no proof of insurance, suspended, cancelled or revoked vehicle registration
•Mischelle Leniese Burns, 61, Omer, Michigan—battery
•Michael Thomas Lanier, 50, Covington—parole violation
•Grace Cassell Jeremias, 32, Macon: DUI—driving under the influence of alcohol, failure to maintain lane, open container violation
