Three Lady Cougars Sign Scholarships

Piedmont Academy celebrated the scholarship signings of seniors Jacie Jenkins, Emily McEwen, and Abby Arnold.

Over the course of their softball career at Piedmont the school won the 2020, 2021, and 2022 GIAA Class AA state championships as well as four region titles.

The trio helped guide the Lady Cougars to a 90-21 record during that time. All three student-athletes were named to the Region 4-AA all-region team, the Class AA all-state team and were selected to play in the GIAA all-star game.

Jenkins signed with Young Harris College while McEwen and Arnold signed on to play at Gordon College in Barnesville.
