Larry Eugene Mize

Larry Eugene Mize, age 80, of White Plains, formerly of Monticello, passed away Monday, May 22, 2023, at his residence.

Larry Mize was born in Greensboro, to the late Robert L. Mize and Helen Griffith Mize. He married the late Betty Ann Limbough Mize in 1962. Originally from Conyers, they lived in West Monroe, La. until moving to Monticello in 2000.

Before retirement, he worked as a millwright for General Motors.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was preceded in death by his sis-

ter, Betty Mize; brother, Billy Mize; step-brother and step-sister, Sonny Fitzpatrick and Lucretia Harwell.

He is survived by his children, Sonda (Brian) Clair of Eatonton and Mitchell (Jamie) Mize of Mansfield; grandchildren, Mason Mize, Brent Brown, Jessica Robertson and Stephanie Brown; great-grandchildren, Austin Taylor, Baylee Drake, Jordan Pace, Cam Robertson, Cade Robertson, Eli Curtis, Kaitlyn Shel- ton, Brensleigh Jayde Brown, Ellie Brown and Arielle Brewer; sisters and brothers, Brenda Edwards of White Plains, Sandra Johnson of Acworth, Millard (Judy) Mize of Royston and Gerald (Judy) Mize of Monticello; and half-brothers, Dennis Mize and Gary Mize.

A memorial service will be held on 11 a.m., Saturday, June 3, 2023 at the Tabernacle of Praise, 3024 Hwy. 11, Mansfield, Ga. 30055. Donnie Clack will officiate.
