Baseball Camp

The third annual Monticello Hurricane Baseball Camp was held this week for children from grades three through five The camp was held Monday through Wednesday at the Hurricane baseball field at Jasper County High School (JCHS). Next week, grades six through eight will take part in the camp. JCHS baseball head coach Brady McMichael spoke about the camp. Mr. McMichael said that the camp is designed “to get the word out there about Monticello baseball.” He said the main goals of the camp is for the kids to have fun and learn the game of baseball. Registration is still available for grades six through eight. The cost is $125 and will run on June 26-28.
