Several people were booked into the Jasper County Jail in the last week on various charges. They include:

•Amber Nicole King, 30, Jonesboro—deposit account fraud

•Isaac Cole Purvis Lewis, 22, Mansfield— probation violation

•Richard Blake Chatham, 34, Monroe—hold for Walton County

•Christopher Lee Hughes, 43, Monticello—probation violation

•Camber Nicole White, 36, Woodland—failure to appear for a fingerprintable charge

•Tony Lee Johnson, 36, Monroe—hold for Newton County S.O.

•Robert Slade Malcom, 29, Oxford—possession of Marijuana – less than an ounce

•Cody Miller Bradley, 27, Monticello—failure to appear for a fingerprintable charge

•Don Anthony Hardy, 67, Covington—hold for Alpharetta P.D.

•Tammy Lynn Taylor, 53, Covington—DUI/driving under the influence of alcohol

•Michael Carlton Pendley, 44, Covington—probation violation

•Gartenor Donnell Leaks, 33, Griffin—failure to appear for a fingerprintable charge

•Martha Juarez-Saaverda, 46, Shady Dale—driving without a valid license

•Rocky Allan Leist, 30, Monticello—driving in Cucular or ZigZag Course;

Laying Drags, DUI/driving under the influence of alcohol

A review of the 911 calls for the week reminds all that storms were prevalent with calls of wires down, tree on house, and trees blocking roadway being prevalent. It’s also clear school is back in, as several deputies direct traffic each morning at the schools on Hwy. 212 west. There were 10 accidents, mostly without injury, reported in the last week.
