Competitive Band

The Monticello High School Marching Hurricanes competed in their first competition of the season— the Oconee Classic hosted by Baldwin High School in Milledgeville. The band competed in class A and finished in second place out of seven bands in their class, also beating several bigger bands as well. Additionally, the colorguard finished in second, and drum major Faith Cook and the percussion finished in third place. The band will compete in Monroe Area High School’s “Hurricane Classic” on October 21 to conclude their competitive season.
