Persons Arrested at DUI Check
Last Sunday, May 12, Jasper County deputies conducted a vehicle stop on Jackson Lake Road. After a brief investigation several ounces of suspected marijuana were located, concealed inside the vehicle. The following individuals were arrested and charged with possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
•Dayton Beam, 18, of Monticello
•Breanna Smith, 17, also of Monticello.
Previously, during the evening of May 10, the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Unit and Georgia State Patrol conducted DUI checkpoints. The following cases were made during that operation:
10- DUI’s (Alcohol and Drugs); six possession of Marijuana less than an ounce, a possession of Marijuana with Intent to distribute; four arrests of a wanted person; and two possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance
Persons arrested during the last week, including at the DUI check, include:
•Nukemar Ansell Batten, 27, Monticello—theft by taking; criminal trespass
•Amanda Grace Brake, 34, Newborn—burglary/second degree (two counts)
•Daniel Russell Hynum, 37, Newborn—burglary – second degree (two counts)
•Larry Malik Dumas, 17, Monticello—terroristic threats and acts
•Jeffery Allen Williamson Jr, 32, Mansfield—aggravated assault (Family Violence); criminal damage to property – 2nd Degree (Family Violence); aggravated battery; obstructing or hindering persons making emergency telephone call;
•Annswanette Elizabeth Moore, 37, Jackson—DUI/ Driving under the Influence of Alcohol; Impeding Traffic Flow; Open Container Violation
•Steven Wayne Shepherd, Jr, 44, Oxford—probation violation
•Logan Stewart, 24, Monticello—driving while license suspended or revoked
•Sullivan Caswell Duncan, 24, Conyers— DUI/driving under the Influence of
Alcohol
