Arrest Booking Is Short

Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office conducted more than 80 traffic stops in the last week, but they arrested few.

This week’s arrest booking only lists seven individuals. Deputies were busy, nonetheless having two parades on Saturday to direct traffic, and having lots of people in town for the rodeo, upping the chances of mayhem.

Those who were arrested include:

Courtney Nicole Queen, 27, Dalton—probation violation

Jorge Bautista, 35, Monticello—driving without a valid license; speeding; failure to maintain lane

Jacquez Laroan Waymon, 31, Rutledge—probation violation

Nathasha Nicole Newton, 40, Lithonia—failure to appear for a fingerprintable charge (three counts)

Sianya Nicole Pantoja Gallegos, 21, Covington—driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs; backing; following too closely

Lindsey Elizabeth Duncan, 32, Commerce—failure to appear for a fingerprintable charge

Breanna Michelle Smith, 19, Monticello—battery/family violence (1st offense)

Deputies also responded to many calls for service, including domestic disputes, transporting prisoners, reckless driver, three alarm calls, serving papers, accidents, subject needs officer, premises check, 911 hang up, 4-wheeler/motorcycle running up the road.
