Deputies Find Two Ounces of Meth

This past week was busy for the deputies and first responders, wtih a variety of calls about crimes and needs for assistance.

On Saturday, June 15, deputies discovered a home with an open door while attempting to locate individuals in order to serve court documents. After a brief investigation, deputies located approximately two ounces of methamphetamine and a small amount of United States currency.

Paul Kevin Johnson, 49, of Monticello, was arrested and charged with trafficking methamphetamine.

•Kenneth Darnell James, 58, Monticello—probation violation

•Harry Lekeith Simpson, 38, Ellenwood—willful obstruction of law enforcement officers; aggressive driving

•Zhane Renecia Simpson, 29, Mansfield—criminal damage to property – 1st Degree; unauthorized discharge of firearms within 50 yards of public highway

•Robert Allen Rice, 35, Shady Dale—probation violation

•Anthony Howard Scott, 52, Monticello—theft by shoplifting

•Richard Blake Chatham, 34, Monroe—probation violation

•Steven David Ratley, 51, Augusta—purchase/possession/manufacture/distribution/ sale of Marijuana

•Jon Michael Davis, 30, Covington—criminal trespass

•Jessie Osborn, 18, Covington—hold for Covington PD

•Eddie Joe Camp, 31, Monticello—aggravated assault

•Labarron Cosby Farrar, 46, Monticello—probation violation

•Dalton Lee Rutledge, 17, Shady Dale—aggressive driving

•Quantez Demond Jackson, 37, Monticello—parole violation; Marijuana/possession of less than an ounce

•William Vincent Woodall, 26, Monticello—hold for Clayton County Sheriff’s Office

•Samuel Arnold Cleary, 31, Jackson—operation of watercraft under the influence of Alcohol, Drugs or Toxicants; Operating Vessel with Improper Lights

•Stephen Andrello Hill, 30, Mansfield—theft by shoplifting

•Nekwevah Lefnayah Yehudah, 38, Milledgeville—theft by shoplifting

•Francis Godfrey Leverette, 56, Monticello—burglary

•Andy Plunkett, 30, Monticello—burglary

•Carmen Kristy Pittman, 48, Covington—failure to appear for a fingerprintable charge
