Connie Elaine Knight Luke

Connie Elaine Knight Luke, age 74, of Covington, passed away Friday, June 21, 2024 at Piedmont Atlanta Hospital.

Connie Luke was born on May 21, 1950 in Atlanta, to the late Fred Douglas Knight and Joy Pauline Knight. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Harrell Luke, and sister, Linda Harper.

Before retirement, Connie worked in sales for Citizens Office Supply in Conyers and later for Snellville Office Products . She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, shopping and taking care of her beloved orange tabby, Buddy.

She is survived by her children, Angie (Dean) Thompson of Covington and Doug (Kim) Luke of Newborn; grandchildren, Dalton Edwards, Julia (D.J.) Guthrie, Megan (Mitch) Philippus and Tori (Alex) Higgins; great-grandchildren, Haley Jane Philippus and Charlotte Higgins; sister, Judy (Gerald) Mize; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, June 30, 2024 at the chapel of Jordan Funeral Home. Rev. Danny Sorrells will officiate.
