School Board Set 13.25 Millage Rate

The Jasper County School Board last week approved the FY25 Millage Rate of 13.25 mills.

The action came after a public hearing at a called meeting Tuesday, June 25.

The board also approved Smithbuilt Construction as the Construction Management At Risk Firm for projects at Jasper County Pre-K, Washington Park Elementary School, and Jasper County High School.

After a closed session to discuss personnel, the board approved the following personnel changes:

New Hire

•Robert Rosser, paraprofessional, Jasper County Primary School (JCPS)

•Ciera Seasholtz, Speech Language Pathologist, systemwide

•Caitlin Aquino, teacher, JCPS

Resignation

•Nakeisha Campbell, custodian, Washington Park Elementary School

Transfer

•Jessica Ravenel, Assistant Principal, JCPS, transfer to Pre-School Director

Release from Contract

•Jenny Lowe, Pre-School Director, JCPS
