Superior Court Criminal Session Sentences Listed
The July 3 criminal session of Jasper Superior Court resulted in the following sentences:
Paris G. Clendenin, Jr. was sentenced to five years with the first 238 days in Jasper County jail for criminal attempt to commit burglary in the first degree. He was fined $1,000 and credited with time served from November 2023 to July 2024.
Lindsey E. Duncan, sentenced to three years of probation for possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, sale distribution, possession of dangerous drugs, and disorderly conduct. Fined $1,000.
Christopher B. Capell, sentenced to two years for possession of methamphetamine and credited for time served from December 2023 to July 2024.
Stanley K. Davis, sentenced to one year of probation for obstruction of an officer. Fined $300 and credited with time served from May 2024 to July 2024.
Probation revocations include the following:
Michael Young, probation revoked to 90 days in jail for admitted drug use which was suspended upon enrollment and weekly completion of family violence intervention classes.
Jacquez Waymon, probation revoked to 30 days in jail for failure to report to probation hearing, report to probation office, and failure to pay court fees. He was credited with time served since June 2024.
Jeremy Ellenburg, probation revoked to 22 days in jail for a new offense in Henry County and failure to make payments.
Katherine Fox, probation revoked to 10 days in jail for positive drug test.
Anthony J. Flynn, probation revoked to 30 days in jail for a new offense.
Tony Bohanon, sentenced to enroll and complete a minimum of six month long term inpatient treat program approved by Department of Corrections for positive drug test, termination from a drug program, and failure to pay court fees.
Michael Vickers, sentenced to enroll and complete the Rockdale House for men long term in patient program for a minimum of six months for admitted drug use while in drug recovery program and termination from that program.
Brandon Lind, sentenced to enroll and complete a long term outpatient treatment program approved by Florida until then will remain in custody of local jail until the case is accepted through interstate compact. The defendant will successfully complete an anger management course.
Joequarius Dumas, sentenced to re-enroll and complete a six month long term inpatient treatment program for termination from a drug treatment program and failure to pay court fees.
A bond of $12,000 was ordered for Megan Utz for an aggravated assault charge.
