Weapons, Drugs Are Seized
The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office Crime Suppression Unit concluded a narcotics investigation last Tuesday, August 20. Deputies executed a search warrant at a residence near Newborn, and the pictured items were seized.
Marty Lyle Bilbrey, 33, of Newborn was arrested and charged as follows:
Six counts of Possession of a Schedule 1 Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute
One count of Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
Three counts Sale of Marijuana
One count Possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony
Other persons arrested in the last week, and their charges, include:
Marissa Marie Reid, 23, Shady Dale—Possession of Methamphetamine; Fishing without Wildlife Management License in Public Area
•Jesus Mauricio Castro-Rivas, 38, Conyers—Failure to Stop at a Stop Sign; Driving without a Valid License
•Jeannita Regene Jones, 46, Monticello—theft by shoplifting; driving without a valid license
•Dwayen Eddie Williams, 58, Bethlehem— Probation Violation
•Devin Alexander White, 19, Oxford—Criminal Damage to Property – 2nd Degree; Contempt of State Court for Fingerprintable Charge
•Ariana Joi Johnson, 18, Monticello—Failure to Appear for a Fingerprintable Charge
