Conspiracy To Murder Is Charged
Barry Gerald Dendy, 71, of Covington has been charged with one count each of Conspiracy to Commit Murder and Conspiracy to Commit Arson. These charges are the result of joint effort between the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office and the FBI. This case is an active and ongoing investigation, however, and due to the nature of the case no further information can be released at this time.
Mr. Dendy is currently incarcerated. He was charged with aggravated stalking about a month ago.
