Deputies Stay Busy, Make Arrests
Jasper County deputies stay busy responding to all types of calls, as can be imagined in a rural county. Sometimes they are chasing criminals, other times, they’re trying to get a cow back in the pasture. Directing traffic for the schools is a daily chore for some, whereas other times, they are called upon to direct traffic around accidents or perhaps on the Square to alleviate a bottleneck.
