Deputies Stay Busy, Make Nine Arrests
It was a light week for arrests this week, with only nine arrests for the week. Deputies were busy with accidents and traffic stops but few resulted in arrests.

•Michael La’malcom Johnson, 33, Covington—probation violation
•Kevin Jamal Jacobs, 25, Monticello—terroristic threats and acts (two counts)
•Raul Erik Barrera, 21, Milner—driving while license suspended or revoked
•Elbert Dennis Thurman, 65, Monticello— Marijuana/failure to appear for a fingerprintable charge
•Ambriel Nicole Shakoor, 26, Monticello—Marijuana/possession of less than an ounce
•Angela Joan Reed, 47, homeless—possession of Methamphetamine with intent to distribute
•Willie Nelson Benjamin, 62, Monticello—pedestrian under the influence; willful obstruction of Law Enforcement officers
•James Robert Puckett, 37, Mansfield—probation violation
