CGEMC has donated an astounding $335,600 in unclaimed capital credits across its service territory. The transformative funds were distributed via 24 checks to Chambers of Commerce, School Boards, and Industrial Development Authorities throughout its service territory.
This initiative stems from unclaimed capital credits that remain after CGEMC meets its financial obligations for any given year. If these credits are left unclaimed after five years, they are rechanneled directly into the communities served by CGEMC for educational advancements, economic growth initiatives, and support for 501(c)(3) charitable organizations.
