Grand Jury Convened Last Week

The Jasper County August 2024 Term Grand Jury convened last week to review 20 bills of indictment of which each was true-billed.

Those charged and indicted include:

Devonte Mack, indicted on 10 counts including five counts of cruelty to children in the first degree, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, obstruction of an officer, driving while license suspended, and failure to report accident.

James Pleas and Zacarious Sanders, indicted on nine counts including six counts of criminal attempt to commit a felony, trafficking methamphetamine, trafficking in ecstasy, and possession of marijuana with intent to distribute.

James Edward Brimberry, indicted on six counts including two counts of rape, two counts of aggravated child molestation, and two counts of child molestation.

Kyle Griffith, indicted on six counts including flee or attempting to elude a police officer, theft by receiving stolen property, possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of firearm during commission of a felony, possession of tobacco or nicotine products by minor, and speeding.

Barry Dendy, indicted on six counts including two counts of aggravated stalking, two counts of conspiracy to commit a felony, and two counts of criminal solicitation.

Keidarious Foster, indicted on five counts including possession of a schedule I and II controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of schedule IV controlled substance, possession of drug related objects, and speeding.

Jiaemiah Wise, indicted on five counts including three counts of obstruction of an officer, criminal trespass, and public drunkenness.

Mikhail Allison, indicted on four counts including two counts of obstruction of an officer, simple battery, family violence, and criminal trespass.

Micalah Owens and Marlon Owens-Austin, indicted on four counts including possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana, more than an ounce, possession of cocaine, and possession of firearm during commission of a felony.

Jared Edwards, indicted on four counts including possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug related objects, simple battery, and driving while license suspended.

Adam Luera, indicted on three counts of entering an automobile.

Noah Smith, indicted on three counts including aggravated child molestation, aggravated sodomy, and child molestation.

Paul Eison, indicted on three counts including possession of methamphetamine and marijuana with intent to distribute, and theft by taking.

Laurie Dendy, indicted on two counts including two counts of aggravated stalking.

Alvia Harrison, indicted on two counts including possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug related objects.

Daniel Hynum and Amanda Brake, indicted on two counts of burglary in the second degree.

Stephen Coyne, indicted on two counts including trafficking methamphetamine and possession of drug related objects.

Eddie Williams, indicted on two counts including aggravated sexual battery and sexual battery.

Kedrion Jackson, indicted for possession of marijuana, less than an ounce.

Camryn Gentry, indicted for sale of marijuana.

Brandon Egnor, indicted for possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.

Paul Johnson, indicted for trafficking methamphetamine.
