Santa Section Set Next Week

Our annual letters to Santa section will be published next week, and we urge all businesses to seize the opportunity to publicly thank their customers and clients for keeping them in business for the past year.

The schools have been contacted and have sent in their letters, and messages were left with known preschools and nurseries. If your child isn’t yet in school, you may submit his or her letter to Santa by tomorrow, Dec. 13.

A copy of the newspaper will be rushed to the North Pole to be sure Santa gets the wishes of all Jasper County children.

A popular section, it’s a good place for retail businesses to post last minute sales, and for all businesses to say thank you! Information may be submitted to

We also invite those who have decorated their homes for the holidays to take a picture and submit it for possible publication next week or the following week.
