Burglary Remains Unsolved

Deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office made relatively few arrests in the last week, but nonetheless stayed busy with all types of calls.

JCSO investigators are continuing to attempt to solve a burglary at Monticello Drugs that was reported on November 30. Someone broke in the back door of the business. It is unknown what, if anything, was taken.

Persons arrested in the last week, and their charges, include:

Yesenia Labra Hernandez, 29, Monticello—Suspended Vehicle Registration; Driving without a License

Antioneus Lewis Smith, 35, Eatonton—probation violation

Marcale T Johnson, 24, Griffin—probation modification/serve 16 days

Christopher Melvin Rhey, 50, Monticello—Failure to Appear for a Fingerprintable Charge

Katherine Denise Proctor, 27, Conyers—Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute; Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects; Giving False Name, Address, or Birthdate to Law Enforcement Officer (2 cts)

Kerry Britt Treadwell, 56, Monticello—possession of Methamphetamine

Demetrius Antonio Martin, 50, Homeless—hold for Putnam County SO
