Superior Cases Settled

Christopher Melvin Rhey was sentenced to six years to be served on probation for possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, possession of drug related objects, failure to maintain lane, entering an automobile and simple battery during the Jasper Superior Court criminal session on December 18.

William Christopher Parker, sentenced to two years of probation for laying drags and a driving under the influence charge plead down to reckless driving. Two charges including DUI and open container were nolle prossed. He was fined $1,000.

James Edward Brimberry was denied bond for two counts of rape, two counts of aggravated child molestation, and two counts of child molestation.

Tiffany Michael, probation revoked to 90 days in Jasper County jail and ordered to complete a mental health and substance abuse evaluation for a positive drug test, failure to report to probation office, and failure to complete substance abuse treatment.
