Several Are Sentenced in Court
Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit Judge Brenda Trammell presided over the civil and criminal court sessions of Jasper Superior Court on January 14. The following sentences were a result of the criminal proceedings.
Rebecca Massey, sentenced to three years of probation for possession of methamphetamine and possession of marijuana. She was fined $2,000 and credited with time served from 12/28/24 until 1/14/25.
Flint White, sentenced to one year of probation for harassing communications. Credited with five days served.
Brittany Clark, sentenced to 25 days in Jasper County jail for criminal trespass.
Probation revocations include:
Patricia Hinds, revoked to 150 days to the state probation retention center for being terminated from the women’s PDC for fighting.
Kendardus Benjamin, probation revoked to 90 days in jail for a positive drug test, failure to report to probation, failed to pay court fines, and failure to provide a substance abuse evaluation. Upon release, must complete the Matrix program.
Otis Alexander, probation revoked to 60 days in jail for new offense of battery, failure to pay court fees, and failure to attend mental health treatment.
Allen Humphries, probation revoked to one year in substance abuse treatment program for new offenses committed in two counties and failure to pay court fines.
Kaley Batten, probation revoked to six month long term inpatient substance abuse treatment program for positive drug test, new offenses, failure to report to probation, failure to pay court fines, and failure to complete anger management.
