Person Wanted on Drug Charges

Courtney Bell, 31, of Covington is wanted for outstanding warrants related to felony drug charges.

The Jasper County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information on her current whereabouts. Anyone who can help is encouraged to call 706-468-4912, comment on social media, or call anonymously at 706- 468-JCSO.

Officers with the JCSO have also been busy investigating various crimes, and responding to calls of all types, including more than a few accidents as the roads were slick, and several vehicles slid off the road.

Deputies responded to some 19 accidents in the last week, four of which were with deer; one was private property, and several resulted in no injuries.

In addition to deputies responding to calls, some have found it necessary to make arrests for various charges. Those arrested, and their charges, include:

•Zaria Ailyah Coles, 20, Lawrenceville—financial identity fraud

•Kenny Leon Strickland Jr, 39, Monticello—Duty of Driver to Stop at or Return to Scene of Accident; Driving while License Suspended or Revoked

•Dylan Grithen Williams, 27, McDonough; Probation Violation

•Taylor Alexander Johnson, 33, Monticello—Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance; Possession of a Schedule II Substance (2 counts); Drugs not in Original Container

•Krystal Marie English, 24, Eatonton—failure to appear for a fingerprintable charge (two counts)

•Michael Harvey Drake Young, 31, Monticello—Possession of a Schedule I Controlled Substance; Marijuana – Possession less than an ounce; Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects; Sale, Distribution, or Possession of Dangerous Drugs; Probation Violation

•Mario Perez Bautista, 25, Monticello—probation violation

•Jessica Dorothy Dimsdale, 48, Monticello—terroristic threats and acts

•Jessica Leigh Tanner, 36, Monticello—mandatory education of minors

•Christopher Patrick Hill, 38, Eatonton—failure to appear for a fingerprintable charge

•Cordea Ashant Dennis, 30, Covington—probation violation

•Andre Gene Tobler, 53, Monticello—probation violation

•Justin Alan Rogers, 40, Milledgeville—Electronic Transmission of Video or Photo Depicting Nudity; Distribution of Obscene Materials to Minors

During the past week, deputies served nine civil papers and also did nine premises checks, as well as serving 12 warrants.

They made 49 traffic stops while checking out four suspicious persons or vehicles. They responded to 15 breakdowns, 12 cases of subject needs officer, and 10 alarms.
