Local Artist Releases New Children’s Book

Local artist and illustrator Lacey Millwood announces the release of a new children’s book in January, titled Barefoot. This book is a wholesome tale focusing on themes of sibling bond, overcoming fear and an appreciation for nature.

Being surrounded by wildlife as a Jasper County native, Lacey strives to capture that beauty within her art. Her oil pastel drawings depict vibrant color and unique details of nature that often are overlooked.
