Scam Alert
We have a group of “Irish Travelers” in the Jasper County area practicing a potential scam with their asphalt business. They are driving a red truck with “King’s Asphalt” on the side. There is a group of five to six individuals with Florida or South Carolina identification, said an announcement from JCSO.
These individuals have stated they can do asphalt work for very cheap but then will hand out a very expensive bill when the work is completed. They have already done work for one business in the county and we have reason to believe they may try again with someone else. If these individuals show up at your business or residence, please call us at 706-468-4930.
