Three Sentenced To Confinement

Stephen Ray Coyne was sentenced to 20 years of confinement with the first 10 years to serve for possession of methamphetamine with the intent to distribute and possession of drug related objects during Jasper Superior Court last week.

Dylan Shawn Mann was also sentenced 12 years with the first two to serve in confinement for three counts of obstruction of an officer, fleeing or attempting to elude, possession of methamphetamine, possession of a knife during commission of a felony, and driving without a license. He was credited with time served from December 2022 until January 2025. He was also fined $6,000.

Richard Lee Williams was sentenced to seven years with one year to serve in confinement for possession of cocaine, fleeing or attempting to elude a police officer, interference with government property, and driving while license suspended. He was fined $5,000 and credited with time served from November 2024 until January 2025.

Alex Kelvin Carter, sentenced to five years suspended upon with entry into a long term in patient substance abuse treatment program for one year. He was charged with obstruction of an officer, fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, driving while license suspended. possession of marijuana, possession of drug related objects, open container, failure to stop at stop sign, possession of firearm by convicted felon. Fined $3,000.
