JV Cougars Playing Well

Piedmont Academy’s junior varsity boys basketball team had a strong offensive outing against Mount de Sales last week despite falling a few points short of victory.

The JV Cougars dropped a 46-38 contest at home despite a 17-point effort from Kolby Pounds and 10 pounds by Bryson Dudley.

Daniel Humber added six points while Kohen Burrell finished with five points.

Pounds made four 3-pointers in the contest along with two field goals and a free throw. Humber and Dudley also had 3-pointers.

Piedmont led 13-8 after the first quarter before Mount de Sales took a 20-16 lead into halftime.
