New Bethel Grove Presents Black History

New Bethel Grove Baptist Church celebrated Black History Month with a skit featuring the past with slaves being chained together and working the cotton fields. They highlighted the future by introducing Black men and women in the church that are graduating high school with plans for the future, college students planning the future, nurses, future NP’s & future Doctors extending their careers, and successful career lawyers.

They include (left to right) Ashley Maddox; Assistant Nursing Professor/future NP, Khayden Hope; HS senior/college planning, Attorney Ronnie Jones; graduate of Morehouse/Georgetown University, Macy Dudley; college student, Gabby Jones; college student, Bridgett Johnson; RN future NP, Latasha Hadley; program Chairperson, and Tristan Little; college student. New Bethel Grove Baptist celebrates Black History all year by including a Black History quote in the weekly bulletin to educate children and adults.
