Linda Jessica Ward Gresham

Mrs. Linda Jessica (Ward) Gresham, born April 29th,1944 passed into the Realms of Glory to be with her Heavenly Savior on Saturday May 17th, 2025 at 8:00 pm at the age of 81 years. Born the daughter of Jesse Ward and Corinne (Wright) Sooter in Hope, Arkansas. Linda completed high school there. She is survived by her husband of almost 45 years, Billy Gresham Sr.

Linda and Billy had a loving marriage and a true partnership in every way. She is also survived by eight children: Charles Jackson Edwards (Betsy), Frank Damon Edwards, Keith Wilton Edwards (Cynthia), Brian Todd Edwards, Tracy Darlene Edwards, Steve Gresham, Rebecca Gresham (David), and Billy Gresham Jr. (Amy). An adoring entourage of twelve grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren, a brother Gary Ward, and her three fur babies, a dog named Rowdy, a cat named Boots, and a kitten named Sassy. She is preceded in death by her parents, daughter (Cindy Gresham), and two grandchildren (Cody and Ethan).

Linda loved the Lord first and foremost. She loved her family wholeheartedly and doted on her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Linda loved singing in church and teaching Sunday school up to the age of almost 81 years. When she wasn’t studying God’s word she could be found reading or tending to her numerous plants and flowers, unless she was in the midst of helping someone, which was her way. A seamstress by trade, Linda made dresses, luggage, furniture covers, and more, and tended to any and all needed sewing repairs.

Linda, or better known as Moma or Nana, will be dearly missed and every fond memory (because there isn’t any other kind) will remain in our hearts forever! We will see you when we get there!
