Donate Now to Love Light Tree
Several members of the Jasper Memorial Hospital Auxiliary met Monday, Dec. 2, and decorated the Love Light tree in the lobby of the hospital. Crocheted angel ornaments with names of deceased members and other handmade crocheted ornaments were hung on the tree. An angel was placed on the tree this year in memory of Nona Wilson, a long time member and past president of the auxiliary.
Residents of the community are invited to send donations for the 2024 Love Light tree in memory or in honor of loved ones. The auxiliary uses all funds to benefit the hospital and residents of the Retreat Nursing Home.
Recently, the auxiliary purchased a Butterfly iQ, a three-in-one scanner that can easily detect veins and arteries. It is a handheld ultrasound device that also has other functions.
Checks may be made payable to Jasper Memorial Hospital Auxiliary and mailed to Jasper Memorial Hospital, 898 College Street, Monticello, GA 31064. Anyone interested in becoming an auxiliary member may call the hospital at 706-468-4516 for information on meeting times in 2025.
