VISITORS FROM ENGLAND

Rev. Corey Ingold from Monticello Presbyterian Church, and his wife, Nancy, moved to Monticello last November. They recently hosted their daughter, Blair Bains, her husband, Tom Bains, and Blair’s inlaws from England Sue Bains and Jes Bains in Monticello, on their first trip to the United States.

While here from July 27 to August 7, they really enjoyed being in Monticello and the surrounding area, and loved the southern hospitality. While in town, they visited the Market on the Square and most local shops. They also visited Dickey Farms, Forsyth, Covington, Atlanta, and took a trip to Edisto Beach in South Carolina.

Sue Bains is an artist, and she made a sketch of the Square and of the Presbyterian Church while she was here.

Blair Baines said, “It was such a great trip and especially considering this was their first time visiting the United States, they were thrilled to stay in our town and enjoy the warm welcome here in Monticello. My in-laws have stated how much they loved Monticello and praised the hospitality and kindness that was shown to them during their stay, and that they will plan to come back for another visit.
