Shady Dale Rodeo Is Coming Up

BARRELL RACING IS ONE RODEO EVENT

The Shady Dale Rodeo, presented by Masonic Lodges Walton #200 and Jasper #50 of Jasper County, will hold its 39th annual event Friday, June 2 and Saturday, June 3 at 8 p.m.

This anniversary event will highlight some of the top riders across the state whilst bringing the community of Jasper County together for two nights of jam packed fun.

Preceding the Saturday festivities is the “Round-Up Festival”, sponsored by the Shady Dale Community Club. This event features live music, arts/ crafts, and a brand new kid’s zone. The festival will take place at 120 Old School St. in Shady Dale. The Shady Dale rodeo parade will also begin at 3 p.m. the same day.

Per usual, the rodeo will be located 1/2 mile south of Shady Dale on Georgia Hwy. 83. Admission for the event will be $20 for adults, $10 for ages six to 12, and children 5 and under are admitted free.

Produced by Southern Rodeo Company, The Shady Dale Rodeo is an IPRA sanctioned professional rodeo event produced by Southern Rodeo Company. It has been voted the Number One Outdoor Rodeo in the Southeast many times. The Shady Dale Rodeo is put on by an all volunteer crew of local Masons, Shriners, and other citizens of the surrounding area. Proceeds of the event go to Masonic related activities and charities.
