Community Band To Perform

Those who are not going out of town this weekend, may join the Monticello Community Band and American Legion Post 110 for a free Memorial Day Concert and Remembrance on Monday, May 29, at 7 p.m. on the lawn of Thomas Persons Hall. The rain location is the Thomas Persons Hall auditorium.

Members of the community and guests are invited to bring a picnic dinner and lawn chairs to enjoy a family-friendly event that includes remembrances, story-telling, history, and patriotic music.

The band will perform several marches and familiar music that pay tribute to those who served our country. American Legion Post 110 color guard will raise the flag and several members will speak.
