Trivia Night Set January 16

Everyone is invited to participate in the 12th Annual Trivia Night at Jasper County High School to benefit the JCHS Academic Teams (e.g. Academic Quiz Team, Technology Student Association, Georgia Envirothon).

Trivia night is set for Thursday, Jan. 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Jasper County High School.

In order to attend competitions, the teams must pay entry fees and purchase student training materials, and the teams are counting on the support of the community to assist us in attending as many competitions as possible.

Teams may consist of no more than five members, so be watching Jeopardy and bring your thinking cap!

Concessions, including pizza by the slice, will be on sale and teams will receive points for right answers, enthusiasm/community participation and team coordination . . . and as always, we will have a special “songbird” recognition for the team who guesses the highest number of correct artists and pieces from audio clips.

Businesses, churches, schools, civic groups, families, and friends are encouraged to form groups of five and enter the trivia contest. It’s great fun, and the teams need as much money as can be raised in one night. It’s great to meet the youth who are involved in the teams.
