Dispatcher Is Honored for 20 Years Service

Denise Driskell of Monticello was honored on March 19, 2018 for 20 years of service with Jasper County 911.

We thank her and appreciate her for her outstanding dedication to the citizens of Jasper County and all of public safety, said Betty Jump, 911 director.

Ms. Jump also announced April 8 – April 14th is 911 Telecommunications Week. “We are celebrating the entire week this year and would like for the citizens of Jasper County to join us on Saturday, April 14 from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. at the 911 Center to meet the dispatchers.

Refreshments will be served during that time.

“We are also asking if any businesses could donate items for a basket that would be raffled off on April 14,” said Ms. Jump.
