T-Shirt Design Contest Under Way

The Monticello – Jasper County Chamber of Commerce is looking for the t-shirt design for the 2014 Deer Dash t-shirts and the Deer Festival t-shirts.`

The winning designs will be used on promotional material for the Deer Festival and Deer Dash, and on the shirts. Each winning designer will receive $100 and recognition in The Monticello News and in Chamber of Commerce publications.

Artists should submit their up to four color design on an 8.5×11 inch paper to the Chamber of Commerce, 119 Washington Street, on the Square no later than Monday, April 28.

Entries should include the artist’s name, address, telephone number and e-mail address on the back of the design.

The contest is open to all middle and high school students, including home school, who are Jasper County residents.
