Graduation Special Next Week

Graduation ceremonies are planned for Saturday, May 20, at 8 p.m. for Jasper County High School and the following week, Saturday, May 27, at 10 a.m. for Piedmont Academy.

The Monticello News will honor these graduates in a special section to be published next Thursday, May 18. Parents, grandparents, friends, and employers are encouraged to publicly salute these students on their achievement of this milestone.

The News will run the senior photos of each student, where available, but others may want to present an assortment of photos through the years or just have a special tribute to offer. Advertisements need to be submitted as soon as possible, but absolutely by noon on Monday, May 16.

In addition, persons with candid shots of the seniors, or perhaps class pictures or other photos of interest from previous years are asked to bring them by the office for possible publication.
