Students Invited to Debate Camp, Monday

Debate Camp at Jasper County High School (JCHS) is scheduled for next Monday, August 3, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Last year, the JCHS Debate Team competed at five tournaments, bringing home top speaker awards in debate, extemporaneous speaking and dramatic interpretation. Students engage in critical thinking and spirited and respectful debate.

Any high school students are welcome to attend Debate Camp and join the team. Students should be at the school by 8:50 in the morning and will be ready to be picked up at 4 p.m. Materials will be provided for the student and lunch will also be provided.
